FOR GOOD SLEEP

Astrologically the 12th house from Lagna ( Ascendant) denotes sleep.If the 12th house or the 12th house lord is afflicted by malefic planets like Rahu or Ketu or Saturn or Mars sound sleep is questionable. If Rahu is placed in the 12th house and he is aspected by Mars, sleep will be disturbed very frequently and there will be no sound sleep. Venus if posited in the 12th house gives the native a good sleep. Ayurveda tells that the sleeplessness or insomnia is the cause of the domination of Vata ( one of the 3 nadirs ) in  the  body Constitution.

Sleeplessness (insomnia ) is mainly due to this psychological factors also.Take from me that this list is not exclusive.
1)Tension
2)Getting caught up in thoughts about past events
3)Excessive worrying about future events
4)Feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities
5)A general feeling of being revved up or overstimulated

Sleeplessness is aggravated by the following medical conditions:
a)Nasal/sinus allergies
b)Gastrointestinal problems such as reflux
c)Endocrine problems such as hyperthyroidism
d)Arthritis
e)Asthma
f)Neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease
g)Chronic pain
h)Low back pain

Apart from medication either by the way of Allopathic or Sidha or Ayurvedic , follow these things and if followed regimentally , definitely it  will yield very good result in a short time:
1)Meditation
2)Yoga
3)walking and light exercises
4)Relaxing exercises like Savasan and Sidhasan
5)Nadisuddhi Pranayama
Chant this Mantras very slowly with concentration, the magical positive sound  vibration will soothe the nervous system and definitely will yield good result. But do not expect this miracle to happen in a day or two. Patience and perseverance is very important.
Remedial Mantras:
Duswapna , dusshakuna , durgathi, dhourmanasya,
Durbiksha , duevyasana  dussasha   duryasamsi  ।

Colour effect: As for as possible keep the wall of the bed room painted in green ,blue or yellow colour. Use the night lamps that emitting the said colour shades.
